FIRST INDIAN POLICE OFFICER (retd.) TO SCALE MOUNT EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK

Dr. Kakumanu Raja Sikhamani (Retired SP, Born on 15th August 1958 ), native of Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He started his career as a Sub Inspector Of Police in 1981 and worked mostly in the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Hyderabad. He has successfully completed the base camp trek of Mount Everest on 25th November to 4th December 2021 and thus became the first retired Indian Police Officer to set this new record. Dr. Raja Sikhamani was appreciated by Andhra Pradesh State Police DGP Shri Gautam Sawang for the great talent in mountaineering.
